Rising Black Men is a mentorship organization founded at Michigan State University in 2017 that still serves as a pipeline of support for Black men from MSU to the Greater Lansing Community. Inspiration Behind Website

My whole idea is to be the change that you want to see. I began this as an opportunity to blog during undergrad, and it began to evolve into an outlet that allows me to use my voice to advocate for change through various mediums. Take some time to explore the website, read something interesting, and feel free to reach out if you would like to collaborate on a project together, discuss graduate school or the arts, or any other topic that may be on your mind!

Rising Black Men (RBM) was the initial entry point into the importance of community service, mentorship, and further seek higher education to create an impact. The creation of this organization, along with the creation of the Grosse Pointe Black Alumni Association (GPBAA), has allowed me to serve something greater than myself, and it has led to my quest to continue to be the change I want to see.
